  3. Installing the deliverables on your organisation’s content management system, such as SharePoint or Confluence.
  4. Transferring knowledge and skills to up to 15 people, so they may self-sufficiently hone and further develop the deliverables in future.
  5. Implementing the data governance framework for one data use case at one government entity, by appointing one or more Data Owners, appointing one or more Data Stewards, initiating Data Governance Committee meetings, and facilitating data governance implementation communications to people across the in-scope government entity.

Activities

The activities we will perform are:

  1. We'll start by identifying relevant people and recording their data governance development roles in a RACI, contained within a Terms-of-Reference document that will be shared with all of those people.
  2. All of the deliverables will then be supplied and installed in an appropriate document management system, as specified by the Customer.
  3. Online workshops and meetings will then introduce people in the RACI to the content of the new data governance framework, sharing knowledge on the content and gathering feedback on how the content may need to be honed to best align with the Customer's situation and needs.
  4. The content of the data governance framework deliverables will be tailored to align with the Customer's requirements, situation, terminology, and ‘house style’.
  5. We'll create a data governance deployment high-level roadmap, to inform people in the RACI of the next steps that will be appropriate for applying the data governance framework to a real scenario.
  6. We'll work with leadership to identify a data use case suitable for applying the data governance framework to, and launching the new data governance initiative.
  7. Aligned to the agreed data use case we'll appoint one or more Data Owners, appoint one or more Data Stewards, initiate Data Governance Committee meetings, and facilitate data governance implementation communications to people across the in-scope government entity.
